What to Prepare Before Your Check-In

A little preparation makes our 60 minutes much more powerful. Before we meet, please complete the following:

  • Update your connections:
    Make sure your bank, credit card, and loan accounts are synced so recent transactions are visible.
  • List your top 3–5 concerns:
    For example, “totals don’t match,” “categories feel messy,” “rules aren’t working,” or “spending looks higher than expected.”
  • Flag confusing transactions:
    Note any charges, transfers, or refunds you’d like us to review together.
  • Choose the months you care about most:
    Usually the last 30–60 days are ideal for a quick check-in and clarity review.
  • Have your login ready:
    Keep Monarch (or your budgeting tool/spreadsheet) open and accessible so we can jump straight into your dashboard during the call.
